Just in November, we talked about THE FINALS and tried to predict when the game was going to be out, and, as we thought, it happened during The Game Awards' week. Well, actually it happened half an hour ago.
Embark Studios has just released its free-to-play team-based shooter THE FINALS, surprising all fans, and now the game is available for download on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Season 1 of THE FINALS has begun, transporting players to the flashy world of Las Vegas, complete with slot machines, boxers, UFOs, and more.
"The Finals isn't another battle royale, military sim, or tactical FPS – there are plenty of those out there. It's an entirely new take on shooters. It's been amazing and humbling to see the response from the community over the past year of testing. Now that the game is live, we're laser-focused on ensuring a great experience for our community, with many surprises along the way," said Creative Director Gustav Tilleby.
Earlier, THE FINALS achieved remarkable figures when they wrapped up their open beta test. More than 7.5 million players joined the game, cementing the title's immense popularity among gamers.
