FromSoftware's Armored Core VI Gets a Gameplay Trailer

The game now also has a release date.

FromSoftware is now known for creating modern classics like Bloodborne, Sekiro, and Elden Ring. It all started though with Armored Core released for the original PlayStation in 1997. After 25 years since the first chapter, the studio shared a trailer for the next part and announced it is releasing on August 25th.

Armored Core VI will let you become an augmented mercenary piloting a huge, customizable mech. The studio promises players will get a chance to control giant, heavily equipped robots and move across ground and air at high speeds.

The game is said to take place on the planet Rubicon, where a powerful energy source called "Coral" has been discovered. This volatile substance has already caused a massive disaster that nearly destroyed Rubicon, but megacorps continue to war for it.
