Fully-Generated Rain Made With Blender's Geometry Nodes

The developer plans to release the generator via Gumroad after some further refinement.

Archviz and Add-On Maker Antoine Bagattini unveiled yet another mind-blowing made using Blender's Geometry Nodes. This time, the artist has unveiled a complex rain generator capable of creating thousands of individual raindrops that break into myriads of tiny splashes upon impact. According to a short demo shared by the author, the generator can be used to make ultra-realistic rain scenes in Blender.

The goal right now, commented Antoine, is to find a way to orient the splash according to the impact surface and adapt the generator to work with moving objects. After further refinement, the developer plans to release the generator via Gumroad and make it available for everyone to use for their projects. Please note that upon release, the generator will be a standalone product and won't be included in Antoine's BagaPie add-ons.
