The leader of Valve found a new place to stay.
Valve Corporation CEO Gabe Newell has recently revealed that he is applying for New Zealand residency. He also noted that the company doesn't have plans of moving developers from Valve to New Zealand.
"Valve does not currently have plans to open an office in New Zealand, which isn't to say that it would be a bad idea. It's just not something we are working on," Newell told 1 NEWS.
Newell has been taking trips to New Zealand before the Covid-19 pandemic and then he decided to settle down with a group of friends.
As a resident, he will be one of New Zealand's wealthiest members (NZ$6 billion). Newell is also organizing a concert event to thank New Zealand for letting him stay during the Covid-19 lockdown.
