Game Animation Sample Project Updated For Unreal Engine 5.7
New Mover plug-in, refreshed locomotion dataset, 400 new animations, and much more.
GASP
Originally released with Unreal Engine 5.4, Game Animation Sample Project offers an extensive library of free animations and best-practice character animation setups for Unreal Engine, serving as a solid starting point for any project. With the recent launch of Unreal Engine 5.7, the development team has focused on integrating the experimental Mover plug-in.
This plug-in enables actor movement with rollback networking, utilizing either the Network Prediction plug-in or Chaos Networked Physics. Designed as the eventual successor to the Character Movement Component, it aims to allow gameplay developers to focus on crafting motion and gameplay experiences without needing deep expertise in networking.
