What's the best game of all time for you? Is it Skyrim? Zelda? Half-Life? Or perhaps Baldur's Gate? You can see if your favorite experience is the same as the majority of players' from Game Informer's Reader Vote.

The outlet used the results of its 2018 Reader Vote and some newer sentiments across the industry to roll out a starting bracket of 64 games. Over 200,000 votes have been cast, and some titles were going head-to-head until one eventually broke through with barely a dozen more votes.

For example, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater managed to "eat" Pokémon Red and Blue, leaving it 12 votes behind. Then, Metroid Prime took over The Last of Us Part II with just 23 votes, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past defeated Half-Life 2 with fewer than 90 votes between them.

In the end, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time became the winner of this Reader Vote, leaving Skyrim, The Last of Us, and Red Dead Redemption 2 behind. Interestingly, the 2018 results were different. Then, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt took the crown, The Last of Us was second, and Ocarina of Time came in third.

Here is the top 10 from 2018:

  1. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
  2. The Last of Us
  3. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
  4. Mass Effect 2
  5. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
  6. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
  7. Final Fantasy VII
  8. Red Dead Redemption
  9. BioShock
  10. Bloodborne
