Gameloft Announces a D&D Survival & Life Sim Action RPG for Consoles & PC

Gameloft, the developer behind Disney Dreamlight Valley, is teaming up with Hasbro to develop a Dungeons & Dragons game set in the Forgotten Realms.
Described as a blend of survival, life simulation, and action role-playing, the game aims to narrate the extensive lore of the iconic Dungeons & Dragons franchise. Promising a story-driven campaign filled with companionship and peril, the debut art showcases characters resting on a hill, looking at a far-away castle.
"The game, set in the mythical Forgotten Realms within the Dungeons & Dragons universe, will bring unique cooperative gameplay built around an innovative hybrid of survival, life simulation, and action RPG. Players can expect an adventure where the rich lore of this legendary franchise meets real-time survival in a unique campaign of resilience, camaraderie, and danger at nearly every turn," reads the description from the developer.
Developed by Gameloft Montreal, known for Disney Dreamlight Valley and LEGO Star Wars: Castaways, the upcoming survival game is in the works for PC and consoles, with the release date and further details yet to be disclosed.
