Gameplay of Bunker Sim Where You Defend Your Planet Revealed

PVKK: Planetenverteidigungskanonenkommandant is an indie-developed upcoming bunker simulator in which players take control of the cannon and deflect a space invasion.

PVKK: Planetenverteidigungskanonenkommandant, a single-player bunker simulator by an indie developer Bippinbits, received a trailer, and new gameplay details were revealed.

The game's title can be translated from German as "planet defense cannon commander," and the player takes on the role of a cannon pilot whose goal is to control a planetary defense cannon to deflect a spaceship invasion.

In the new overview video, Rene Habermann, the Director of Bippinbits, said that PVKK is a simulation game rather than a horror or a narrative. According to the developer, it is "very approachable" as the players don't have to "study a big manual." Narrative and mystery parts are included in PVKK to provide context to the setting.

The simulator is highly detailed: the players will need to manage the energy levers, monitor the surroundings, detect spaceships, and make a plan for approaching the situation. The ships are moving, which requires calculations, given the speed, distance, and size.

Earlier, the developers said that the idea of the game derived from "a love of pressing satisfying buttons and a fascination of old cockpits."
