The first-ever gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show concluded with remarkable success, welcoming 206,159 visitors, 294 exhibitors, and 5,590 industry professionals from 81 countries.
The collaboration between gamescom asia and Thailand Game Show brought together international developers, publishers, creators, and fans under the theme World of Gaming, a celebration of creativity, technology, and culture.
Fans and professionals experienced a packed schedule of showcases, cosplay competitions, live performances, and exclusive hands-on opportunities with upcoming AAA titles and indie releases. Exhibitors such as Capcom, Bandai Namco Entertainment, Koei Tecmo, Nuverse, Xbox, and PlayStation presented their latest projects, including Resident Evil: Ominous Way, Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, and the first Thailand debut of BLEACH: Soul Resonance.
For the first time, gamescom asia’s signature business area was integrated into the TGS floor, welcoming 71 speakers from 20 countries who discussed emerging technologies, creative leadership, and market growth across Asia’s thriving gaming ecosystem. Headliner Glen Schofield (Dead Space, The Callisto Protocol) delivered an inspiring keynote on creativity and resilience in game design, encouraging developers to “take risks and tell stories that matter.”
Beyond the entertainment halls, the event’s business section featured pitch competitions, networking sessions, and Thailand’s Game Talent Showcase, spotlighting upcoming studios and student developers. International companies joined local talent to explore partnerships and investments, reinforcing Thailand’s growing influence within the Asia-Pacific games sector.
Organizers reported that gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show 2025 generated an estimated 1.22 billion THB in economic impact, underlining the country’s potential as a regional hub for game development, publishing, and digital media innovation.
Following the success of its first edition, gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show will return to Bangkok from October 29 to November 1, 2026, promising an even larger lineup of exhibitors, creators, and global partners.
