GDC 2023 Session on Character Rendering in The Callisto Protocol is Now Available

Learn more about Striking Distance Studios' approach to rendering realistic characters with this educational presentation shared during this year's GDC.

Director and Head of Striking Distance Studios Spain Jorge Jimenez has announced that the studio's "The Character Rendering Art of The Callisto Protocol" presentation, shared during Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2023, can now be watched for free via GDC Vault.

During the session Striking Distance Studios' Glauco Longhi, Martin Contel, and Jorge Jimenez himself spoke about their approach to character rendering in the studio's 2022 sci-fi survival horror game, explaining how Callisto's realistic characters were rendered and providing a comprehensive technical breakdown of the production process behind them.
