Gearbox Entertainment Acquires 3D Tech Company Captured Dimensions
Captured Dimensions' Jordan Williams will remain the company's president and will report to Gearbox Entertainment's president Randy Pitchford.
Gearbox Entertainment announced that it has acquired 3D technology company Captured Dimensions. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 2012, Captured Dimensions specializes in 3D capture, scanning, and reconstruction services and has previously worked on various films and games including with such companies as Lionsgate, Sony Pictures, 20th Century FOX, Netflix, 2K Games, and EA. The firm has also had several gaming projects that it worked on together with Gearbox Entertainment.
Following the acquisition, the president and founder of Captured Dimensions Jordan Williams will remain the company's head and will report directly to Gearbox Entertainment's president and founder Randy Pitchford.

Earlier, Gearbox also acquired Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands co-developer Lost Boys Interactive.
