Get Any Image You Want on Your iPhone with This NFC E Ink Case

Reink Case needs no battery or plug.

If you easily get bored of your iPhone's appearance, check out Reink Case, which has an E Ink screen to display any image you want.

The case offers 4-color ink and works from NFC, meaning you don't need a battery or a tail plug to transfer the picture and charge it. The creator promises that the tech doesn't require charging at all and will draw a bit of power only when switching patterns. You'll get to have your beautiful case even if your phone is out of battery.

"Full wrap-around notch design on all 4 corners to effectively mitigate the impact of a fall. Explosion-proof glass back shell, scratch-proof and drop-proof, giving strong protection for dual screens."

The screen can move up to 115° and has an explosion-proof and scratch-proof tempered glass cover. While the case doesn't have a magnetic attachment, you can still use wireless chargers with it.

Reink Case is developed by Reinkstone, a team that "designs, develops, manufactures, and delivers innovative electronic products through cutting-edge science and technology for people who pursue better and more eye-protecting products."

The device looks great in promo footage, and it's a fun concept, although the limited number of colors definitely affects the final image and might disappoint you if you have very high expectations. Here are a couple of videos that could help you decide if you want it:
