Get New Fab's Limited-Time Free Content Before December Ends

This time, you can access modular office and Japanese architecture environments, along with a realistic falling and momentum damage system.

The UE Marketplace's Sponsored Content Program was a well-loved initiative where Epic collaborated with creators to provide free content to the community. It allowed sellers to increase revenue and expand their reach while giving buyers access to high-quality products for free each month. Now continued on Fab with a few updates, new limited-time free content will be released every two weeks and featured for two weeks, giving publishers more opportunities to gain exposure.

The latest limited-time free content, available until December 31, includes a couple of environments and a Blueprint-powered system for handling falling damage. Created by Aleksandr Zhdanov, this package features over 160 realistic models, including furniture, windows, ceilings, walls, and decorative elements, allowing you to build your own office room. The modular parts let you customize the color of walls, floors, ceilings, furniture, and other elements, with many materials offering adjustable parameters.

The Newtonian Falling and Momentum Damage System by Dapper Raptor Development is a fully Blueprint-powered, drag-and-drop system that works with any character or controller. It includes two distinct systems for handling falling damage.

Simple Damage System is a basic falling damage system that applies damage based on fall height, which is easy to implement but less flexible than the advanced system. Advanced Momentum-Based Damage System is the recommended system to use, calculating damage based on player acceleration and G-forces. This allows for things like cushioned falls in water, non-damaging jump pads, and damage from wall impacts, offering far more flexibility and realism.
