GSOPs features a real-time viewport renderer, example files, and a suite of tools for importing, editing, and exporting 2D and 3D Gaussian Splatting content.
Developed by David Rhodes and Ruben Diaz, GSOPs is a free, powerful plug-in for Houdini that gives artists complete creative control over Gaussian Splatting scenes, a technology that's rapidly gaining popularity.
This toolkit features a real-time viewport renderer, sample project files, and a comprehensive set of tools designed for efficient import, editing, and export of both 2D and 3D Gaussian Splatting content. With GSOPs, users can isolate objects, remove noise and "floaters," deform and animate splat models, build complex scenes, generate meshes, relight environments, conduct feature analysis, and create high-fidelity synthetic training data with intricate view-dependent effects.
The latest release simplifies installation and pipeline integration, introduces support for 2D Gaussian Splatting, and includes various bug fixes and user experience enhancements. GSOPs 2.6 remains freely accessible, but Early Access supporters can now unlock exclusive features, such as highly requested support for Karma and Solaris.
