Google Will Help You Read Doctor's Handwriting

The technology is still in development but looks promising.

A doctor's handwriting is hard to read no matter the language, but Google got you covered: you will not struggle anymore trying to understand the prescription once the company launches its new tech.

During its annual conference in India, Google demonstrated how the feature will decipher the handwriting from the photo you upload and highlight the medicine you need to get. This might not eliminate handwritten instructions but will make people's lives a bit easier.

"This will act as an assistive technology for digitizing handwritten medical documents by augmenting the humans in the loop such as pharmacists, however no decision will be made solely based on the output provided by this technology," the company said.

The tool is still in development, and the release date is not disclosed yet. Read about Google's plans here and don't forget to join our Reddit page and our Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
