Gorgeous Space-Themed VFX Made in Cinema 4D & Redshift

31 hours render time, 910 MB simulation, two 4090s, 16 cups of coffee.

Art Director and VFX Artist Farid Ghanbari, also known as RenderBurger, continues the series of astonishingly beautiful space-themed 3D visual effects with one more mesmerizing project resembling something between a nebula, a supernova, and a smoke-like portal to other dimensions.

According to Farid, the latest project was set up using Maxon's Cinema 4D without any external plug-ins or third-party solutions and rendered with Redshift, with the final simulation weighing in at an impressive 910 MB. In terms of hardware, the VFX is powered by 192 GB of RAM, an Intel 14900K CPU, and two NVIDIA 4090 GPUs, while the artist himself was powered by 16 cups of coffee.
