nxExplosiaFX is designed to handle effects of all sizes and includes a new GPU viewport renderer.
INSYDIUM has released a tech preview of an upcoming feature soon to enter beta for NeXus, a GPU particle and simulation system for Cinema 4D. nxExplosiaFX is designed to be easy to use, intuitive, and friendly for artists, making it simple to create impressive simulations. Any smoke and fire scene can be realized, whether it's a small candle with gentle smoke or a huge explosion: emit fire from objects, splines, vertex maps, shaders, and particles with realistic results and full control.
It includes special GPU-powered forces like turbulence, vorticity, and wind, along with a custom layering system for emitters, collision objects, and scene forces. Particles can be colored based on data like temperature or fuel, and they can fade based on smoke density. There's also a new GPU viewport renderer that shows clear volumetric previews of smoke and fire, plus helpful tools to visualize simulation details like adaptive bounds, voxel grids, and velocity trails. All settings are kept in a single scene object, making your project organized and easy to manage.
Currently, there's no additional information available about nxExplosiaFX, but you can visit INSYDIUM's website and watch more videos on their YouTube channel:
