Developer Polyphony Digital has released a significant 1.40 patch for Gran Turismo 7, offering players an enticing reason to jump into the game. The update introduces a plethora of new content, highlighted by the inclusion of four-player split-screen races.

The recent post shared on the Gran Turismo official website delves into the details of the patch, outlining the various changes and additions. One noteworthy addition is the introduction of snow race tracks, providing the opportunity for thrilling icy races that can be experienced both during the day and at night. Moreover, a total of seven new cars have been introduced to Gran Turismo 7, featuring notable entries such as the legendary Dodge Charger R/T 426 Hemi '68 and the cutting-edge Tesla Model 3 Performance '23.

Gran Turismo 7's highly anticipated update 1.40 brings exclusive and thrilling features for PS5 users. One exciting addition is the option to race against Gran Turismo Sophy, an advanced AI racing agent, in the Quick Race mode, formerly known as Arcade Race. Furthermore, PS5 players can now enjoy split-screen races with the latest update. Previously limited to two players, the update expands this feature, allowing up to four players to compete locally at the same time.
