Greenfield: a Massive Minecraft City 11 Years in the Making

Over 400 players have worked on this 1:1 scale city.

Meet Greenfield – what the creators call the largest city in Minecraft. This grand project has been in development for 11 years now, with over 400 players building it on a 1:1 scale, where one block is equivalent to one meter.

Founded by THEJESTR in August 2011, Greenfield is only about 20% complete but is definitely one of the most detailed Minecraft towns you've seen. With thousands of unique builds, almost all of them fully furnished, the scale of this city is fantastic.

Inspired by Los Angeles, Greenfield has the types of buildings you can find in a real-life city on the west coast. Explore the downtown with its many skyscrapers, rich suburbs, poor decaying ghettos, and industrial areas.

The latest update largely increased the size of the city and introduced Greenfield International Airport, nearly 3000 brand new houses, 7 new districts, activities, shopping, a massive retirement facility, and more.

Find Greenfield here and don't forget to join our Reddit page and our Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
