Hades 2 Is Now Out in Early Access

People say you should definitely go and play it.

The long-awaited and much-anticipated Hades 2 has finally arrived in its early access.

On May 6, Supergiant Games released their roguelike without any prior announcement, which surprised its fans, and the team also unveiled a brief gameplay trailer showcasing the main character battling enemies.

The full version of the game is expected to launch no earlier than the end of 2024, with the developers planning to roll out the first major patch in the upcoming months. Similar to the original game, Hades 2 will undergo some changes based on player feedback.

Supergiant shared that the sequel boasts more locations, enemies, and fully voiced characters compared to the original's early access stage. The Hades 2 is set several years after Zagreus' story, focusing on Melinoë, Hades and Persephone's daughter, as she endeavors to rescue her family from the deranged titan Chronos.

On Steam, the game already boasts over 98% positive feedback, with players saying that despite the game being in early access, you should definitely try it.

According to PC Gamer, Hades 2 feels like playing the first part of a complete game, with fully voiced characters, balanced combat, and many features already operational. While some character portraits and environmental art appear unfinished, overall, Hades 2 plays like a refined demo.
