Halo Infinite's Lead Narrative Designer Joins Riot Games

Aaron Linde leaves 343 Industries.

Aaron Linde, Halo Infinite's lead narrative designer, revealed his intentions to leave 343 Industries on the last day of 2021, several weeks after the game's release. He said it was a "terrifically difficult decision" and announced that he as moving on to a new project.

In 2022, Linde revealed his new job – he joined Riot Games as a senior narrative writer. The announcement was made in Evangelion's 'next episode' style to allude to Linde's future occupation.

Linde joined 343 Industries in 2019 and was responsible for "planning, development and execution of all open world narrative content in Halo Infinite". Before that, he wrote mission scripts, lore, and ambient dialogue for Destiny 2: Shadowkeep. In addition, he was a lead writer and narrative designer for Guild Wars 2.
