Harry Styles' Cardigan Recreated in 3D With Houdini

Here's one more amazing project made by VFX and Grooming Artist Jesus FC in Houdini.

VFX and Grooming Artist Jesus FC, the one who also revealed an extremely-realistic bear model earlier today, has unveiled one more amazing project made in Houdini. The artist has managed to create a digital double of Harry Styles' famous cardigan, made following the knitting pattern and instructions of the real one, as per request from xydrobe's CEO Nell Lloyd-Malcolm.

According to the artist, the 3D version of the cardigan was made using six main stitches: Moss Stitch, Double Moss Stitch, Garter Stitch, Reverse Bee Stitch, Jersey Slip Stitch, and Jacquard, as well as some custom knits for the collars and cuffs. The digital knitting process took place in Houdini and was performed by Jesus, while artists John Folley and Sebastian Mayer were responsible for modeling and lighting the project.
