Have a Look at the Upcoming Build-Up Strategy Game from The Settlers' Dev

Pioneers of Pagonia, a captivating build-up strategy game, invites players into a world of exploration and discovery as they embark on a mission to reunite the fantastical islands of Pagonia. With over 40 unique buildings, 70 diverse types of goods, and intricate production chains to manage, players can unleash their creativity and establish a thriving economy. 

Developed by Envision Entertainment and designed by Volker Wertich, co-creator of The Settlers, the game will give you a chance to lead medieval tribes across a breathtaking island chain starting December 13, 2023.

As for now, we can have a look at the demo, which was released by the developer some time ago. The demo of the game is accompanied by an early access roadmap, offering a glimpse into what launch players can expect, including encounters with both neutral and hostile encampments. These adversaries range from wolfpeople to menacing individuals adorned in bird-themed attire. Additionally, the game features procedural maps, diverse terrain, and difficulty settings, a trade system, and an enhanced sense of "wusel" (German for hustle and bustle).

The early access of Pioneers of Pagonia is priced at $29.99. The game's updates planned for 2024 include the introduction of fishing huts and subsurface mining, along with a productivity display. These additions demonstrate the game's commitment to optimizing even the most utopian fantasies of colonialism to their fullest potential.
