Helldivers 2 developers consider the streamers' opinion, but also rely on other tools and sources when analyzing players' activity, as Arrowhead CEO Shams Jorjani clarified recently.
On Discord, one of the players asked about the influence of the streamers and noted that content creators "made so much content for the game that now they focus on crazy OP weapons only," adding that "this game was never made to be played for 4,000 thousand hours."
Arrowhead CEO Shams Jorjani acknowledged the role of streamers in influencing the audience but noted that they don't represent the majority of players. The CEO said that streamers "represent the playstyle of a minority, but set standards for many as they have a platform to broadcast and many who look." Jorjani noted that the developers use various sources of information and feedback: "We balance things out internally by looking at a lot of data, metrics, and qualitative data like said streamers", pointing out that "the vast, vast majority silently play the game."

Before, Shams Jorjani assured fans that Helldivers 2 will continue to exist until people stop playing it.
In the next few days, the game's fans will receive exciting updates, including the Into the Unjust update, scheduled for September 2, and Dust Devils Premium Warbond, slated for September 4:
