Principal AR/VR Engineer at Shopify Daniel Beauchamp, who previously showcased a cool peeling mechanic for VR, has recently proven that gamification of reality continues to gather momentum, astonishing thousands of Twitter users with a couple of new experiments in mixed reality.

Meet Chores 2.0, a more fun and engaging approach to vacuuming the floor that turns one of the most tedious cleaning activities into an exciting process. Thanks to a custom setup, one can collect digital coins scattered across the floor or vacuum every green-marked spot in VR, adding an element of entertainment to a typically boring activity. Although project details are scarce, it is known that the author utilized a Meta Quest headset and controllers to record the demos and track the location of the vacuum cleaner.
