Following Microsoft's recent announcement about the forthcoming closure of Tango Gameworks, along with Arkane Austin, Alpha Dog Games, and Roundhouse Games, the much-loved rhythm action game, Hi-Fi RUSH, has its final update released to "take care of some remaining issues."
A heartfelt note from the developers accompanied the update, expressing gratitude to the fans:
Despite the studio shutting down, Tango Gameworks assured players that the physical edition of Hi-Fi RUSH is still in the works:
Despite the old saying that all good things come to an end, the unexpected closure of the studio by Microsoft, continues to puzzle many. Microsoft stated their pursuit of "smaller games that confer prestige and awards", which makes the shutdown decision particularly ironic.
