Against the Storm reminds me of World of Warcraft and Civilization.
You can finally rebuild civilization in the dark fantasy roguelite city-builder Against the Storm now that it's left early access and is fully available on PC.

"You are the Viceroy – a leader charged by the Scorched Queen to reclaim the wilderness and discover lost riches for the Smoldering City, civilization's last bastion against the Blightstorm that destroyed the old world."

Unlike other city-builders, Against the Storm tasks you to establish a whole network of settlements populated by fantasy races like beavers, lizards, foxes, and harpies (and, of course, humans). Each of them has its needs and specializations, and you need to make sure you're using your cities efficiently.

Your settlements are safe abodes surrounded by dangerous wilderness. However, if your cities fall under endless storms, it's not the end yet because the roguelite nature of the game allows you to carry over your resources, upgrades, and experience.

Against the Storm looks like an interesting mix of World of Warcraft visuals and Civilization gameplay with its hexagon-divided map. You'll be squeezed between the Scorched Queen's requests and perilous Blightstorms, so your goal is to satisfy one and avoid the other. Exercise your strategic bone to win or hope for better luck next expedition.
