Warner Bros. Games' popular open-world action RPG Hogwarts Legacy will receive a Definitive Edition. For those who already own the game, it will be available as paid DLC.
According to Insider Gaming, the new edition/DLC will provide "around 10-15 hours of additional content, with a new story quest, side quests, activities, and outfits." Fans probably won't have to wait long to experience the new content, which could come out next year to boost Warner Bros.'s gaming revenue. The developer reportedly lost $200 million due to the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League going down like a lead balloon, which is considered one of the company's largest failures.

Hogwarts Legacy was the best-selling game in the US in February last year, the month it was released, and secured the position of the top-grossing console game in the US in Q1 2023. By January this year, it had sold over 24 million copies, making it one of the company's most successful games.
Therefore, it's not surprising that more resources and efforts are being poured into the title. Last month, Warner Bros. Discovery's Chief Financial Officer Gunnar Wiedenfels stated that the sequel to the game is among the company's primary focuses.
The price of the DLC could be between $20 and $30, though it has not been decided yet. Considering it's getting closer to 2025, fans might expect an announcement or reveal of details about this upcoming edition soon.
