Hollow Knight: Silksong Is Most Wishlisted Game on Steam Again

Hollow Knight: Silksong, an upcoming Metroidvania over 5 years in the making, has snatched back its title of the most wishlisted game on Steam. The last time we saw it there was 3 years ago, but since then, several other titles, like The Day Before, THE FINALS, Manor Lords, and Hades 2, have occupied the place.

The latest owner of the crown was Black Myth: Wukong, which launched yesterday and attracted over 2.2 million concurrent players. Its release eliminated it from the list, bumping Silksong up.

At the moment, here are the most wanted games on Steam, according to SteamDB:

1. Hollow Knight: Silksong
2. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2
3. Frostpunk 2
4. Monster Hunter Wilds
5. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl

Silksong is highly anticipated, but unfortunately, its release has been delayed, and the developers from Team Cherry don't provide many updates, which made fans threaten to "sacrifice" the game's subreddit. Still, Silksong is allegedly "not in dev hell" and received a rating in South Korea in April, so perhaps we will hear something more about it soon.
