Horizon MMO Is Reportedly Being Developed by NCSoft

NCSoft is reportedly developing an MMO game in the Horizon franchise. According to the Korean news site MTN, NCSoft and Sony have "tentatively agreed to pursue a business partnership" where NCSoft will create a new game using Sony's "promising game IP".

The report also says that while NCSoft's internal team is working on Guerrilla Games' Horizon, "discussions are underway" in which the two companies discuss collaboration and business partnership. 

When asked about this, NCSoft's representative told MTN that "it is difficult to confirm information about unpublished projects that are currently under development."

NCSoft is a pretty big name in the MMO business, standing behind such games as Guild Wars, Lineage, Blade & Soul, and Aion, so it's interesting to see what Horizon will become in its hands.

Earlier, rumors spread out that Horizon Zero Dawn will get a remake/remaster and an online multiplayer project.
