The remaster of Horizon Zero Dawn for PS5 and PC is scheduled for October 31, as announced by Sony at the State of Play Broadcast. Ahead of the release, the original version of the game was delisted from the Epic Games Store.
The EGS page of Horizon Zero Dawn's Complete Edition states that the game is "unavailable." However, the game is still accessible on GOG and Steam. A few days ago, there was news that Sony increased the price of the game's Complete Edition from £15.99 to £34.99 in the UK and from $19.99 to $39.99 in the US, while an upgrade to the remastered version was announced to cost $9.99.
Guerilla
Horizon Zero Dawn is an action RPG set in a future Earth taken over by hostile machines. It suggests players discovering the mysteries of this world with the main character, an outrageous warrior named Aloy, who also strives to uncover her own past. The game was released for PS4 in 2017 and received a PS5 update in 2021.
Some fans suppose that Sony makes too many reworked versions of its games. For instance, industry insider Jeff Grubb said that PlayStation was working on another "even less exciting" remaster.
