Houdini-Powered Paint Simulation Made by a 16-Year-Old Artist

This digital paint looks extremely realistic.

A 16-year-old Digital Artist and Filmmaker, known only as Approximated, has unveiled a stunning new project. This time, the artist made an extremely realistic brushed paint simulation using SideFX's Houdini. According to the author, it took only one night to complete the project from start to finish.

Approximated also commented that the amazing sizzling effect of air bubbles leaving the paint was just a side-effect of being in a hurry and trying to complete the project quickly and was not intentional.
