Technical Artist at Cloud Imperium Games Julian Bragagna has shared an impressive demo showcasing the capabilities of Houdini's brand-new tool for generating procedural flesh webs, introduced as part of SideFX's recently unveiled Project Grot.
In case you missed it, Project Grot is SideFX's in-house tech demo designed to showcase the versatility and creativity that procedural generation brings to game development. The demo was revealed alongside a set of tools Houdini-made tools that were used in combination with Unreal Engine 5 by just one Environment Artist to set up Project Grot's ancient volcanic cave environment.
Julian was one of five Tech Artists who built the toolset for the demo, having been responsible for Project Grot's Ruins and Flesh Webs generators.
