Pixologic has been asked by schools and companies how can ZBrush be used remotely by students and staff. In response to it, Pixologic shared 4 methods of how you can ZBrush remotely:
- floating licenses allow you easily to make it available for remote use. Check the article on how to manage it.
- with volume licenses, you can remove them from your on-campus devices, so remote users can activate them. Read the instructions on how to do it here.
- For schools, Pixologic starts ZBrush 2020 Trial on March 19. The trial will go for 30 days, but the period can be changed on further notice. See the details here.
- Each user can get a monthly subscription. Subscription policy varies in each company, so be aware that debit cards and PayPal don’t work in the online store if users get the subscription themselves. If the company purchases the subscriptions for employees, then it should also provide copies with Windows and macOS installers. Check this page for more information on this method.
