The demo version of Welcome to Doll Town is now available.
If the new Silent Hill f only whetted your appetite and you're now looking for more, this indie horror with PSX-style vibes might be exactly what you need. Welcome to Doll Town, an upcoming SH-inspired game from Bad Wish Games, set in an atmospheric world that takes the calm, dreamy vibe of rural Japan and replaces that "dream" part with nightmares.
Bad Wish Games
Set in a decaying village once famous for its exquisite handcrafted dolls, the game puts you in the shoes of Yumi, a student who takes a part-time job at the town's only convenience store. Similar to the series the game draws inspiration from, Welcome to Doll Town lets you explore the setting's abandoned streets, empty schools, derelict factories, and forgotten shrines while solving puzzles along the way.
As you experience Welcome to Doll Town's slow-burn descent into horror and cinematic scenes that plunge you even deeper, you'll uncover the truth behind the deaths, the cursed dolls, and the macabre love story that destroyed the town.

Although the game is slated for release on February 13, 2026, you can already get a taste of it with a free demo available on Steam. In addition to trying the demo, you can also check out the behind-the-scenes glimpses the team shares on Twitter, which highlight Welcome to Doll Town's gameplay features and eerie visuals:
