Sam Barlow, the developer of Immortality, has recently revealed new games, codenamed Project C and Project D. The games have been added to Steam, but they all look extremely secretive.
These upcoming releases will mark a return to the horror genre for Half Mermaid's CEO Sam Barlow, who not only worked on Her Story, Telling Lies, and Immortality but also contributed to designing Silent Hill Origins for PlayStation 2 and Silent Hill: Shattered Memories for Wii and PS2.

According to Steam, Project C will be an interactive movie in the style of the team's recent titles like Her Story, Telling Lies, and Immortality. The description, which is encrypted, includes a passage from the first letter to the Corinthians in the Bible. It also mentions that the project will introduce an element that hasn't been seen in video games before.

During a recent interview with Kinda Funny Games, Barlow provided some additional details about the games.
"One of them is in the tradition of Immortality, building on some of that tech but going in a cool direction," he described Project C. "I think, you look at the Steam tags, you can see that it's horror, sci-fi horror, it's a very cool premise. It might be like the chunkiest mechanic we've come up with within this kind of non-linear space, it's a cool little puzzle box."

Speaking of Project D, it seems that the horror story will take place in 1983, centering around a nurse. The description also includes words such as "doors," "home," and "nightmare."
The game's debut video features the silhouette of the main character, with the background audio including police sirens and some negotiations of unknown. The footage ends with the 40th President of the United States, Ronald Reagan, saying, "We are Americans." Barlow has confirmed that it will be a third-person adventure game.
"And then the other, Project D, that is for my old school fans that played Silent Hill: Shattered Memories back in the day. This is a third-person survival horror game, but like, take that and then imagine what happens if the immortality team fuses with a third-person survival horror game," said Barlow.
