OrangeArshe shared some technical details of the rigging experiment.
3D Artist OrangeArshe presented this impressive setup featuring a highly detailed Gundam arm crafted using Blender.
The creator drew inspiration from the artwork of 3D Artist Mokmaheim. As for the technical part, OrangeArshe shared that with this artwork, they experimented for the first time with parenting objects directly to bones instead of the usual vertex groups. The creator shared that the rotation axis between the shoulder and upper arm worked well, while the shoulder armor movement is still not set up correctly. However, OrangeArshe concluded that it turned out to be a good learning experience.
