The insider expressed his opinion on the potential release of the remake.
There have been many rumors about the possible remake of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Last December, it was said to be announced at an Xbox Direct event in January, but it didn't happen. One of the insiders recently claimed that the remake might see the light of day this spring. Moreover, there's a rumor that the game might be released during the first part of April.
Surely, we take all the unconfirmed news with a grain of salt, but now, we have a new piece of information coming from a known industry insider, Jeff Grubb, that might confirm the said assumptions.
In the recent episode of the POWER BLOCK podcast, Grubb and co-host Emma Fyffe talked about the title's release, saying that it might appear already in April. "Oblivion is very likely going to shadow drop here pretty soon," said Grubb, adding that the potential launch might take place any moment this month.
The insider supposed that Microsoft can reveal the game at a Developer Direct that we don't know about yet or simply announce it in a tweet. As noted by the podcast hosts, shadow-dropping, in that case, makes sense, as the title is a remake of a game that already exists and not an entirely new project.
