Instant Impostors: Blender Add-On That Converts Mesh into Low-Poly Impostor

The tool should improve performance in any large scene.

Have a look at Instant Impostors – a new Blender add-on that automatically converts any mesh into an optimized low-poly impostor created by Alex R Heskett. The tool increases performance in large-scale scenes but is compatible with Eevee only.

The impostors are generated with just one click and use advanced shader-based rendering to display a detailed representation of the original mesh, utilizing 3D parallax, self-shadowing, and translucency to further replicate the detail of the original object.

Instant Impostors is compatible with Blender 3.3.0+ and costs $20, $50, and $150 for Lite, Full, and Studio editions respectively. You can get the add-on from Blender Market.

This project includes assets, maps, materials, Blueprints, and effects created in the Unreal Engine. Each asset was created for realistic AAA quality visuals, style, and budget.
