Esri's ArcGIS Maps SDK is available for free and supports Unity 6.
You're likely familiar with Esri, a global leader in GIS software, which, among its many products, offers the ArcGIS Maps SDK for Unity, transforming static maps into dynamic, interactive simulations.
Now fully compatible with Unity 6, this SDK supports advanced features like AI-driven nav meshes, agent systems, and real-time data visualization, making it ideal for creating applications that address challenges like simulating pedestrian traffic, optimizing infrastructure, and managing dynamic assets.
Here's the San Diego Convention Center and its surrounding area, showcased using ArcGIS's 3D tiling system within Unity 6.2 and URP:
This digital twin was created in collaboration with Unity for a showcase at the Esri User Conference in San Diego earlier this month. It demonstrated a realistic simulation of solar panels, wind turbines, and the impact of weather, and an AI-powered simulation of pedestrian movement, predicting bottlenecks and optimizing flow, along with tools for real-time updates on infrastructure conditions. Also, a dynamic look at how simulations improve peak transit times.
