Soup Kitchen? Swag Pokemon? Star Citizen? Silk SoooooNg?
Josef Fares, the Founder of Hazelight and the creative mind behind TGA 2021 winner It Takes Two, has celebrated the acclaimed co-op adventure selling over 20 million copies by revealing the name of the studio's upcoming game. Well, not the full name, but just the first few letters of its title, instantly creating an aura of mystery around Hazelight's next project.
In his cryptic tweet, Fares responded to the community's curiosity about Hazelight's upcoming projects by disclosing that the studio is currently working on a brand-new IP, thankfully throwing the possibility of It Takes Two's legacy getting ruined by an unnecessary sequel out of the window. He also teased the title of the new game as S*** ******N, prompting many to begin guessing what those two hidden words might be. Soup Kitchen? Swag Pokemon? Star Citizen? Silk SoooooNg? Your guess is as good as mine.
Adding to the intrigue, Hazelight also posted a small teaser, revealing that, much like ITT, S*** ******N will be published by Electronic Arts. The sticky note at the top of the image might suggest that the new project will include co-op elements, though that's still up for debate.
As it stands, there's little information about the upcoming game beyond the developers' enigmatic Twitter posts. However, Fares mentioned that he "can't wait to show it soon," leading some to speculate that the new title might be revealed at this year's The Game Awards ceremony.
