Jacksepticeye Co-Produces Bloodborne Aimated Movie

Now that's an unexpected collaboration.

Fans wishing for Bloodborne on PC has long become both a meme and a desperate cry, and soon, they will be able to quench their thirst for the game a bit, but no, this is not a game announcement.

Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions are creating a Bloodborne R-rated animated feature, and the co-producer is Seán McLoughlin, whom you most likely know as YouTuber Jacksepticeye.

Together with PlayStation Productions and Lyrical Animation, he will bring the dark world of the game to the screens.

Sanford Panitch, president of Sony Pictures Entertainment Motion Picture Group, promised that the move will be "very true" to Bloodborne's gory essence. Jacksepticeye, in turn, promises to "fight tooth and nail to make this thing the best it possibly can be."

"It's a dream come true that I get to announce I'm producing a Bloodborne R-Rated Animated Movie with Sony. I can't say much else about it yet but I will pour everything I have into this!" Jacksepticeye said.

YouTubers becoming filmmakers is a recent trend, it seems, as Jacksepticeye follows Markiplier with his debut movie Iron Lung.

There is no information about Bloodborne at the moment, but it looks like PlayStation is betting on its IPs, with Uncharted, Twisted Metal, HBO’s The Last of Us, and the upcoming Helldivers movie adding to its portfolio.
