In its latest financial report, EA revealed that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has attracted millions of players becoming a commercial success.
During a recent investor presentation, EA also revealed that Jedi: Survivor will be later released for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles, but the development is currently in its early stages.
"EA delivered a record Q1, driven by strong momentum in EA SPORTS global football and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor," said Andrew Wilson, CEO of EA. "Our exceptional teams are creating innovative entertainment experiences across our multi-year pipeline, starting with the highly anticipated, culture-defining titles Madden NFL 24 and EA SPORTS FC 24."
"We had a strong start to the fiscal year, with net bookings growth of 21% year over year, highlighted by new releases, continued live services growth, healthy engagement, and new player acquisition,” said Stuart Canfield, CFO of EA. “Looking ahead, our teams remain focused on delivering long-term growth and profitability."
EA has decided not to share any info on when the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game will be released. The company hasn't shared the number of copies sold on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC either.
Earlier, Respawn posted job listings for artists and developers willing to contribute to the development of Star Wars Jedi. The studio is seeking talented Principal Game Writers, Senior VFX Artists, and Senior Technical Sound Designers. Learn more here.
