John Cena Cryptically Posts GTA 6 Image

GTA 6 keeps fans in a chokehold, making them see signs of release dates and new trailers in literally everything. Well, here is a new mysterious piece for your interpretation: famous actor and wrestler John Cena posted a GTA 6 image on his Instagram, and this could mean... anything, actually.

Perhaps we will see Cena in the upcoming game, and this is his way of teasing the news. Or he is trying to tell us we got him turning heel, or becoming a villain, before GTA 6 – in that popular meme style.

I'm not even going to try to pretend I know anything about wrestling, so here is a little explanation by Redditor ChocolatePain.

"In pro wrestling the term heel means bad guy and face means good guy. Wrestlers will typically change their alignments several times throughout their careers, depending on the story being told and as the ebb and flow of their personal narrative changes.

"John Cena on the other hand has not been portrayed as a heel since around 2004, which is one of the longest streaks in wrestling as a consistent good guy. ... Earlier last year he announced that 2025 would be his retirement year, so him turning heel is truly shocking because most assumed that they would never see it come to pass, especially since he is in the twilight of his career."

This seems like a sound theory, especially since Cena later posted a screenshot from The Dark Knight where Harvey Dent says the epic "You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain" phrase.

Alas, we don't know for sure what Cena means as his Instagram profile says he posts images "without explanation, for your interpretation."

We'll see if Cena was trying to tell us about his involvement with GTA 6 or not when the game launches in fall.
