Join Unity's 20th Anniversary Game Jam

This year, Unity turns 20, having built a platform that empowers both aspiring and experienced game developers to bring their creative visions to life. The community has shaped and pushed Unity forward every step of the way, so now, Unity invites everyone to celebrate with them by doing what you do best: making games.

The theme for the game jam will be announced at the start of the jam on November 7th, 2025, at 5 PM UTC. During 48 hours, you'll have the chance to create games inspired by the history of Unity: classic assets from Unity 1.2 through 4.5 will be available.

The community will vote for winners in several categories: Fun Factor, Art, Sound Design, Uniqueness/Creativity, and Narrative Design. Additionally, the Unity team will select a winner for a special category: Most Creative Use of Anniversary Assets. Winners in this category will be featured on the Post-Game Jam Unity Livestream and receive some associated prizes.

Teams of any size are welcome, solo participants are encouraged too. You can also participate in multiple teams and submit multiple projects.

It's a great opportunity to experiment with something unusual or simply connect with other developers and celebrate the joy of making games.
