KIRI Engine: A Free Photogrammetry App for Mobile Phones

Meet KIRI Engine, a free 3D scanning app for iOS and Android, developed by Kiri Innovation, a Canadian company that specializes in photogrammetry, and powered by a state-of-the-art photogrammetry algorithm. With this app, it is possible to create high-quality 3D assets with just a smartphone by taking pictures of an object from various angles and heights.

What's more, the app utilizes AI and machine learning to automatically remove noise from the 3D scan. The processing itself is done in the cloud, with users uploading images, choosing one out of three quality presets, and downloading the generated model in either OBJ or FBX format.
