KitBash3d revealed that since the start of the pandemic their team has given away more than $3 million dollars of premium assets to designers in over 130 countries. #BrightArtDarkTimes, the latest initiative, inspires game developers, hobbyists and artists and helps them it make it through dark times.
The team noted that the #BrightArtDarkTimes campaign has already led to the creation of more than 1,000 unique pieces of 3D art around the world. "Creating bright art during dark times is one way we can collectively contribute our artistic skills and uplift people’s days, especially during this pandemic," said Maxx Burman, Co-founder, KitBash3d. Also, the team revealed that Epic Games awarded KitBash3d with a MegaGrant to support an upcoming project to be released this summer. More details will be revealed soon. This project includes assets, maps, materials, Blueprints, and effects created in the Unreal Engine. Each asset was created for realistic AAA quality visuals, style, and budget.
