"You can probably connect the dots!"

Metal Gear fans were ecstatic to play their favorite games on modern platforms with Master Collection Vol. 1, but while it contains the first 3 Metal Gear Solid games, many were disappointed MGS 4 didn't make it there.
Rumors of the game appearing in Master Collection Vol. 2 have been around perhaps since the first came out, and including it in the next volume is a logical step, but Konami has been silent about the matter.
But not anymore: the company's producer Noriaki Okamura seemingly hinted at MGS 4's inclusion in Master Collection Vol. 2 in an interview with IGN when asked about bringing it to modern consoles.
“We definitely are aware of this situation with MGS4. Unfortunately we can't really say too much at the moment with Vol. 1 containing MGS 1-3 dot dot dot… you can probably connect the dots!
“Right now we still are internally concerned about what we should be doing for the future of the series. So sorry, we can't really reveal anything at the moment. But stay tuned!”
While it's not exactly a direct confirmation, I have no doubt we will see the game in the next collection.
