KRAFTON Officially Revealed Team-Based Top-Down Tactical Shooter PUBG: BLINDSPOT

PUBG publisher KRAFTON has officially revealed PUBG: BLINDSPOT, a 5v5 team-based top-down tactical shooter that was previously called Project ARC. Along with the announcement is a brand-new trailer for the spin-off, as well as an announcement for the upcoming playable demo on Steam. 

Developed by "a small team" in the PUBG Studios, PUBG: BLINDSPOT is set to deliver "fast-paced, strategy-driven combat with intense firefights and realistic gunplay. The game blends the thrill of high-intensity shooters with the strategic depth unique to the top-down perspective." It was first brought to the community three months ago with a first-look trailer, which showcases its core gameplay featuring intensive military gun actions:

As to why the new project is titled BLINDSPOT, KRAFTON has given a full explanation: "The PUBG brand in the title represents PUBG STUDIOS' commitment to expanding into new genres, while BLINDSPOT signifies the game's innovative blend of top-down shooting and vision-based tactical play, offering players a fresh and engaging experience." 

The demo will be available on February 21, before the start of Steam Next Fest, which will be held from February 24 to March 3. Players will have a chance to dive into three team deathmatch maps and four demolition mission maps, playing with ten different characters, each with their unique signature weapons and special tools.
