InZOI, an upcoming life simulation game developed by KRAFTON, will be delayed until March 2025.
Game Director Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim wrote on the game's official Discord channel that after reviewing players' feedback from the game's Character Studio and analyzing the data from playtests, the creators decided to release inZOI in Early Access on March 28, 2025. "We apologize that we could not bring you the game sooner, but this decision reflects our commitment to giving inZOI the best possible start," the developer said.
He then compared the game's development to raising a child, saying that it takes a lot of time: "It is said that among primates, raising a human child to adulthood takes the longest time because humans must be prepared to endure and adapt to their ever-changing surroundings."

Hyungjun explained that the developers decided to ship the game later than it was initially planned to further improve it: "This change in our release date represents our dedication to giving inZOI a stronger foundation, so we can embark on this journey together in the best way possible."

Before, a KRAFTON representative reportedly stated that the game might launch in early access this year, but there was no detail about the specific date. The game was immediately proclaimed a rival to the Sims franchise. However, entering the sphere of life sims can be tough. Another game of this genre, Life By You, was regrettably canceled before entering early access. Hopefully, it won't be the case with KRAFTON's inZOI, and this game with appealing, detailed visuals powered by Unreal Engine 5 will be released.
